The sirloin tip is the most tender or the round cuts. It's next to the sirloin on the carcass, but it's actually from the round.
Perfect on its own, this cut is also excellent for marinading. Good for grilling, and, the ideal cut when you’re looking to make (or enjoy) the most tender steak sub. Make some great sandwich meat with a sirloin tip steak. Also great for fajitas.
Because it's lean and flavorful, it's also a great steak for braising. We love making things like Asian Braised Beef with sirloin tip rather than brisket. It's better!
